Ecobirch is Baltics’ largest manufacturer of custom-made birch and pine glulam boards, finger-jointed components and birch shields. To support their growth goals, the manufacturer wanted to:

  • Make existing processes more cost-effective and increase their efficiency
  • Improve planning and product delivery throughout the supply chain
  • Reduce wastage
  • Improve overall performance and enable analytical capabilities

And so, Columbus was chosen to carry out the initial business analysis stage to examine Ecobirch's existing processes, identify areas for optimisation and propose digital solutions to eliminate them.

We compiled an overview of the processes and the bottlenecks which existed across the organization. Following this, we proposed new digital solutions and upgrades to address and mitigate these challenges.
